365 Things To Do In Cherokee County features WOW!

 Wow Cafe & Wingery (World of Wings) recently opened in the Kroger shopping center at Towne Lake Parkway and Eagle Drive in Woodstock in the space formerly occupied by Decio’s Pizza.  Judging from the menu and the qualify of the food, this is going to be a very popular spot.
The dining room is bisected by a unique and fascinating wall of water, and has a light, contemporary feel.  Flat screen televisions line the walls and are in the booths, but it’s not overwhelmingly “sports bar-ish” in atmosphere.  There’s an outdoor patio, which will be packed when the weather moderates.
The menu has a New Orleans flavor with a variety of sandwiches and wraps, burgers, salads and appetizers, seafood, ribs, and several southwestern favorites like quesadillas, and fajitas.  The specialty, of course, is wings, which come with your choice of no fewer than 17 different sauces and in portion sizes ranging from 4 to 1,000!
Prices are reasonable, with sandwiches averaging about $6 and entrees ranging from about $7 to $15 for the full rib platter.  Most are in the $8-$10 range.  Service was friendly and prompt during my recent visit.
There is a full bar, too, where you can get your favorite spirits and specialty drinks.
